My first Asian country I visited was Taiwan. I stayed there 3 months, learnt first the language and went afterwards traveling a couple of weeks all over the island. Some years later I worked for 3 months in Beijing. The culture fascinates me as well as the language with much more picture in it than my mother tongue (German). I went for holidays to India and Sri Lanka: both very impressive countries in many ways!
